For Paratha:
- Wheat flour---1cup
- Oil---2tsp
- salt---(1/4tsp)Adjust to taste
- Water---1/2 cup approx.
Alu stuffing:
- Potato---1(boiled, peeled and grated)
- Onions---1 small(chopped finely)
- Green chillies---2(very finely chopped)
- Coriander leaves---1tbs(finely chopped)
- Cumin Powder---1/2tsp
- Coriander powder---1/2tsp
- Ginger Garlic paste---1tsp
- Chilly Powder---Adjust to taste
- Salt---Adjust to taste
- Chat Masala Powder---1/4tsp
- Oil ---1tsp
Preparation:
- Take the wheat flour in bowl, add salt and oil to it, mix it properly.
- Now add water to it little by little while mixing it.
- Knead the dough for atleast 3 min. The dough should be neither too tough nor too smooth.
- After kneading the dough pour little oil on top, apply allover. Keep the dough aside for 15 minutes.
- Mean while put a frying pan stove, put oil in it, add the finely chopped onions and green chillies to it.
- Add little salt to the onions, fry them till transperent, now add the ginger garlic paste.
- Once the ginger garlic paste leaves it strong flavour, add the masala powders along with chilly powder and salt.
- Mix properly and add the grated potato.
- Fry for 1 min and remove from stove.
- Now take a small part of chapathi dough, roll into small circle, put the requied amount of stuffing in center and cover the stuffing evenly with the chapathi.
- Roll this evenly into a thin paratha using a rolling pin.
- Fry this paratha with ghee or butter on pan.
- Serve hot with any pickle or curd.
