Ingredients:
- Tomato - 1 medium size
- Tamrind pulp -1 tspoon
- Turmeric Powder-1/2 tspoon
- Salt -As per taste
- corainder Leaves-Fist full
- Garlic pod -1
Powder:
- Jeera -1 tspoon
- Toordal-1/2tspoon
- pepper corns-1/2 tspoon
- Whole red chilli-1
grind all the above ingredients into a coarse powder.
For seasoning:
- Hing - apinch
- Mustard seeds-1/2 spoon
- Redchilli pods-2
- curry leaves -few
Procedure:
- In a bowl smash tomato n tamrind and add 4 cups of water ,salt,turmeric powder ,grinded powder , crushed garlic and corriander leaves.
- In a large vessel add 2 tspoons of oil and add seasoning and let it splutter,now add the above liquid and keep it on a low flame so that rasam becomes hot.
- Dont let dis rasam to boil .
- Switch of the stove immediatly when it too hot.
- Serve hot.
