Ingredients:
- Onions---3(cut into dices)
- Whole red chillies---3
- Coriander seeds---1tsp
- Cumin seeds---3/4 tsp
- Coriander Leaves---1/2 small cup
- Tomato---1(med) cut into pieces
- Tamarind---2 inch piece
- Salt---Adjust to taste
- Sugar---1 pinch
- Oil---1tsp
- Fresh coriander leaves
- Put oil in the frying pan. Add coriander seeds, cumin seeds and red chilies.
- Once the cumin seeds start spluttering add the onion pieces.
- Fry them till transparent in med flame.
- Then add tomato pieces. Fry them till cooked.
- Once cooked shift from stove and let it cool.
- Then add salt, sugar and tamarind and make in to paste in mixer.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with idlis, dosas or pesarattu.
